An Imposing Hand Painted Chinese Export Porcelain Twin Handle Enameled Soup Tureen or Centerpiece of large proportions and traditional form, made during last quarter of the Eighteenth Century, Quing Dynasty. Complete with its original dome shaped firm fitting cover with elaborate strawberry finial, beautifully hand painted with scattered bunches of flowers, the body with similar decoration, all highlighted with gold leaf detailing. Condition: Superb untouched condition with nice surface patination and no evidence of use. We have thoroughly examined this rare offering to find no imperfections or hair lines anywhere. Base is unmarked which was typical of this Chinese period Height: (entire as shown) 9.25" (23.5cm). Depth: (at main body) 9.5” (24m). Width: (entire including handles) 12.5” (31.5cm).
