Antique Japanese Imari Arita Ware Porcelain Dish, 19th Century

About the Item

Early 19th century Japanese Imari porcelain vide-poche dish with hand painted floral decorations in the traditional Imari colors of cobalt blue and coral red with small green accents. Two peacocks are portrayed wandering along a small path in the midst of the floral scene within the scalloped edges. Colorful antique item from the Meiji period in great vintage condition consistent with age and wear. Japan, early 19th century.
