About the Item
This lovely mid-century modern French Riviera style centerpiece or vide-poche is made of rattan and hand-woven wicker and is complemented by a brass rim and two handles. The tray (in the style of Gabriella Crespi) was designed in Italy during the 1960s and 1970s.
This gorgeous object wonderfully represents the spirit of the times. Creations made of bamboo, rattan and reed were very popular and are still sought-after objects todaythat fit beautifully into any interior.
Very good vintage and 100% original condition with an overall lovely patina.
