This piece as a hot water serving charger, 18th century, Qing period. We all know the hot water dishes but a piece of this size is unique in the history of our company. The idea is to pour hot water in the serving charger and then add the lid with the holes on top of it. This can put dishes on top of it to keep them warm.
Both painted with an elegant lady in a landscape garden scene.
