About the Item
Beautiful vintage Murano hand blown sapphire blue, bubbles and gold flecks Italian art glass tear / water drop shaped decorative bowl, vide poche. Created in the manner of the Seguso Vetri d'Arte company and designer Archimede Seguso. The piece is made in the "Bullicante" technique, with hundreds of evenly spaced controlled bubbles throughout. The bowl is covered in gold leaf throughout, and glitters when it catches the light. Would make a great display piece on any desk, vanity or coffee table. Use it as a catchall, candy dish, or as a ring / jewelry dish on your dresser. Midcentury era. Measures: 5 5/8” long x 5" wide x 2 1/2" high.
