About the Item
Beautiful, vintage Murano hand blown Sommerso glowing Uranium yellow over blue Italian art glass bird / duckling sculptural bowl. The bowl is attributed to the Seguso Vetri d'Arte company. The yellow and blue glass optically mix and you can see green in areas of the bowl. The piece has a high Uranium / UV reactive glass content, and you can see how it lights up in a bright neon green color under a black light. Would make a great display piece on any desk, vanity or coffee table. Great item for the collector of Uranium / Vaseline glass. Mid-Century era. Measures 6” long x 4” wide x 4" high.

Beautiful vintage Murano hand blown Sommerso purple Italian art glass geode cut bowl. Attributed to the Seguso Vetri d'Arte company, circa 1960s. A similar bowl is shown in the company photo archives, item number 12877, and is published in their book. The bowl has an outer layer of amethyst, middle layer of sapphire blue, with rich violet overlay in the top layer (Ametista - Blu - Violetto).
