Dish with iron-red, green, aubergine, yellow, brown and black with an insect in flight above flowering peony issuing from rockwork, the rim with flower sprays reserved on diaper-pattern. Underglaze-blue fu (prosperity) mark, Chongzhen Ming dynasty, Tianqi or Chongzhen period (1621-1644) Additional information: Material: Porcelain & Pottery Region of Origin: China Emperor: Chongzhen (1627-1644), Tianqi (1620-1627) Period: 17th century Ming & Transitional (1368 - 1664) Condition: Very minimal rimfritting only and some small firing flaws.
