Vintage Art Deco erotic sterling silver cigarette case, enamelled
About the Item
A beautiful vintage Art Deco era sterling silver and enamelled cigarette case.
The case has an erotic theme and features a lady topless in a reclined position with a fan and a gown.
The enamelled oval to the front is in good condition with no chips or cracks to it.
It has an engine turned design to the silver and gilt lining to the interior with an original elastic strap.
Fully hallmarked for sterling silver, Birmingham assay office, 1929, maker Joseph Gloster and Son.
Condition:
Fair used condition overall, some patina, light surface wear, general signs of use, dent to the reverse of the case near the clasp, this prevents the case from holding shut.
