Circa 1840-60 Chinese lacquer on wood work or letter box. Cartouche shaped. The entire exterior is decorated with each curved & shaped panel decorated with a gilt scene within a cartouche shaped reserve. Replaced hinges. No lock plate. 8.75" x 6.75" x 4.25" h.
