Italian Mid Century Modern Murano Sommerso Art Glass Jewelry Trinket Casket

About the Item

An Italian Mid Century Modern Murano clear art glass "Sommerso" jewelry square casket trinket box fitted with gold plated brass fittings. The brass is signed. "G.S.E. ottone galvanizzato ORO K24" circa 1960s. Measurements: height: 4.5 in. x width: 4.5 in. x depth: 4.5 in. Condition: There are no chips, nicks or cracks to the glass. Hinge is strong and solid and brass rims have some minor plate wear loss. but not much. This estate fresh example is about as nice as one could hope to find and inner basin is smooth and shiny clean as well.
