About the Item

Palais Royal satinwood jewelry box with inlaid rosewood bands and cut steel tack-head decoration. Three rosewood bands running front to back across the top and continuing down the back and front separating panels of satinwood decorated with scrolling vines and fleur-de-lis executed in cut steel tack heads. The lid opening to reveal the original red lining as well as a mirror in the lid with a gold embossed red leather frame concealing a document pocket.
