19th Century French Repousse Silver Plated on Copper Jewelry Box

About the Item

Place this elegant, antique Napoleon III copper box in your master bath to keep your jewelry safe and organized. Crafted in France circa 1880, the ornate casket is almost square in shape; all five sides including the top are decorated with detailed repousse allegoric cherub scenes throughout. The inside is upholstered with a luxurious blue velvet fabric. The decorative, elevated jewelry box is in excellent condition and adorns a rich patinated silver plated finish over copper. Original key included. Measures: 5" W x 4" D x 2" H.
