Rare and highly decorative pair of tall Swedish Neo-Gothic candelabras, handcrafted in the 1910s. Made from pinewood and fully hand-carved, each piece holds seven candles and features intricate fretwork, dramatic arches, and ornate scroll-like motifs — all executed with exceptional attention to detail.
The Neo-Gothic (Gothic Revival) style was inspired by medieval ecclesiastical architecture, particularly the grandeur of Gothic cathedrals. Hallmarks of the style — such as pointed arches, vertical emphasis, and decorative tracery — are beautifully reflected in the sculptural silhouettes of these candelabras.
