About the Item

Textile Candle is a serie of ceramic pot candles, made by Daria Dazzan at her atelier in the centre of Milan, Italy. These pieces are handmade and a one-of-a-kind, in a limited, numbered serie of 70. Daria Dazzan develops her aesthetic research on the border between design, pottery and sculpture. The pieces are a combination of the artistic background of the artist: high-end fashion textile. The TEXTILE CANDLE Serie is a print on clay bodies, made with a cord embroidery stitched btw hand by the artist for her high-end fashion clients. The hyper textured surfaces of the candles express all the physical feel exploration led by the artist. The candle is hand-poured by a family-run business in the north of Milan. The wax is natural, 100% soy wax, therefore it doesn’t harm the air quality once lit. The candle comes in a handmade packaging, ready to be given as a gift or enjoyed at home. Unique Piece -Please note: the candles are all unique, thus you may have a slightly different candle than the one in the pictures, that must be interpreted as a synonym of handmade value -All functional artistic pieces may have natural, yet unique indistinct irregularities. Although we are very thorough during manufacturing to ensure uniformity, there could be minimal inconsistencies in dimensions and shapes. Each piece is crafted, glazed, fired and packed by hand. -Our process is genuine: focused on precision, made with love and care. -Any piece is one-of-a-kind and numbered in limited serie, marked on the piece. There are no pieces that are exactly the same due to the multiple levels of creations, making each one unique.
