Mother of pearl light shade or candlestick by Balthasar Wigand Vienna about 1810-1820 with very fine painting from the Galitzerberg in Vienna.
Balthasar Wigand born 1771 lived and worked at a time of cultural upheaval, characterised by the rise of neoclassicism. Balthasar Wigand created masterpieces that reflect the timeless beauty. The light shade is height-adjustable, the bronze is fire-gilded . The object is in good condition.
