About the Item

Chrome and brass midcentury candlesticks, Set of seven, 1970-80s Stunning brass and chrome Mid-Century Modern candlesticks. Each chrome candlestick rests on the circular foot with the central four-sided body with slab sides narrowing to the top. The candleholder at the top is in brass with a wide circular drip pan that extends beyond the base and is raised on a narrow central column above the base. There are two sizes. Five larger candlesticks and 2 smaller. Dimensions: Large size: 9 inches x 3 1/2 inches at base x drip pan diameter 6 inches wide. Smaller size: 7 1/2 inches x 2 3/4 inches x drip pan diameter 5 inches wide.

This stunning and dramatic set of candlesticks were realized by Karl Springer- one of the most influential and important designers of the 20th century- in America, circa 1985.
