Hallmarked in Sheffield in 1905 by Martin & Hall, this attractive pair of Antique, Edwardian, Sterling Silver Pair Chambersticks, are in the art nouveau taste, featuring pierced decoration to the sides, and to the removable nozzles. Each chamberstick measures 3"(7.5cm) tall, by 6"(15cm) in diameter, and together they weigh 13.96 troy ounces.

These exceptional antique Victorian cast sterling silver taper candlesticks have a plain classical English form.
The cylindrical capitals are encircled with bands of tooled decoration and retain the original hallmarked detachable push fit sconces.
The waisted section of each column features a plain panelled quatrefoil shaped knop.
These Victorian taper candlesticks have quatrefoil shaped stepped bases with central plain sunken wells.
Each taper candlestick does not have a weighted base.
Condition
These solid silver taper candlesticks are an exceptional gauge of silver, fine quality and in excellent presentation condition.
Full hallmarks struck to the surface of each base and full hallmarks to the sleeve of each sconce are all very clear; the full hallmarks to the base of one candlestick has wear in keeping with age, but remains clear and legible.
