Monumental pair of vintage Persian silver (.840 pure) candlesticks, said to have been commissioned by the royal family in the mid-twentieth century, measuring 31 inches in height. Featuring exceptional engraved, chased and repousse designs of figures, animals and arabesques, and 16 engraved drops. Total weight of the two combined is 8,700 grams, 279.71 troy ounces.
