About the Item
A pair of impressive brass candleholders, former church pieces, in art deco style. 20th century, found in Germany.
The pieces are made of sheet brass, which has been hammered. They are in fair vintage condition with a nice mellow patina. There are lots of signs of wear including scratches, dents (typically to the base), oxidation and traces of old wax to the tops. We have left the patina as found, and there is some slight asymmetry as one might expect from handmade work.
