About the Item

A pair of late Empire silver candlesticks crafted by master silversmith Caspar Julius Worm. Created in Copenhagen in 1837, these candlesticks are richly decorated with intricate acanthus leaves, vases, and fleur-de-lis details, embodying the refined elegance of the late Empire style. A unique historical feature is the finely engraved initials of the original owners on the stems. Each piece is stamped on the base with Worm's master mark, "C.J. Worm." In great condition, these candlesticks are a stunning example of 19th-century Danish craftsmanship. Copenhagen, 1837
