About the Item

This set of four carved and painted 'cricket stick' styled candlesticks are unsigned but presumed to have been made in Eastern Europe in circa 1930 in a folk art style. The sticks are nicely turned and have carved spiral accents down the body of the stick. The sticks have been hand painted in a deep green and deep red with gold dry brush accents and have brass accents. These candlesticks are quite tall, standing fifteen inches in height.
