Please do not use the 'request a shipping cost' function on 1st dibs just message us directly to access this special shipping cost. 230cm rare early 1800s antique Swedish mora clock with carved detail in a folk art finish and detailed face with the makers name C Palmlöf of Sala marked on it and hand painted detailing. Measures: 230cm. The clock body is distressed as befits its age and has the usual wood movement found in clocks of this age. The clock is sold 'as is' : as a decorative piece only with the original mechanism and pendulum but not guaranteed to be in working order - If you want it working we can fit a professional hi torque battery mechanism for time keeping ( +£250) or you can have a great sounding chiming mech which replays the recorded chime through a small speaker with a volume control and 8 hour night off switch (+£350) or you can choose to have you local clockman clean / repair and set up the original clockwork mechanism at your location to get it going The battery mech change if you choose that option takes approximate 2-3 weeks. Please note that the bentwood in mora clocks can move/split when subjected to a change in temperature, humidity and location post shipping- this is normal

Clock is structurally sound and features the typical paint distressing and wood movement common to this age of mora clock. it will be checked over by our restorer prior to shipping for stability.
