Antique Swedish mora clock from the early 1800s in lovely Green and Gold finish and Classic Fryksdall detailing with an extended belly shape body, Dual Star Motif and a clean face in good condition with makers name Ekerstrom. Measures: 200 cm.
It has the Classic extended belly of a traditional Swedish mora clock with detail on the body section and detailed pedestal carving.
The clock body has the usual wood movement and distressing found in clocks of this age.
the clock is sold 'as is' : as a decorative piece only with the original mechanism and pendulum but not guaranteed to be in working order - If you want it working we can fit a professional hi torque battery mechanism for time keeping ( +£250) or you can have a great sounding chiming mech which replays the recorded chime through a small speaker with a volume control and 8 hour night off switch (+£350)

- Condition:Repaired: probably some small repair during its life. Wear consistent with age and use. Minor losses. Minor structural damages. Minor fading. The clock has some paint distressing and it is structurally sound with the usual wood movement for a piece of its age. It has some slight cracking /lifting in the face enamel and may exhibit some paint lifting in places. It will be lightly restored.
