About the Item
This BeoCom 1401 telephone is a time capsule gem, and still has the original, unused, paper address booklet inside. Introduced in 1998 as the successor of the 1400, the model that follows the 2000 Series by Bang & Olufsen
It was available in a number of different colores, this one being red. It offers all the modern functionality that you may expect of a landline telephone.
The 1400 series from B&O was the successor to the 2000 series phones and was launched in 1993 with the Beocom 1400, followed in 1998 by the 1401. Martin Iseli designed the appearance of the phone. The device was available in eleven different colors. Furthermore, it is a straightforward phone with 10 memory locations and redial for the last number dialed.
Classic design by Martin Iseli and made by Danish Bang & Olufsen between 1994-2003. Bang & Olufsen is world-renowned for the sublime quality of both design and sound. Easy-to-use and fully functional.
It is possible to connect the phone to modern day routers, and also includes the original European plug head adapter.
