Russian Antique Desk Set in Guilloche Enamel with Diamonds
About the Item
This exquisite Russian desk set features glittering rose diamonds and silver gilt. The set comprises a stamp, two inkwells, a letter holder and a picture frame, which all sit on a Stand. The Stand is coated in turquoise guilloche enamel, on four toupie feet. Upon this are set the stamp and to either side the inkwells. The letter holder is formed of two sheets of curled silver gilt and set to the rear of the base, and the picture frame is set atop a long, curled strand of silver gilt. The base itself is mounted all-over with foliate and floral silver gilt mounts.
