About the Item

A rare and beautifully coordinated six-piece tea set from the esteemed Wallendorf Porcelain Manufactory, dating to the GDR era. This delightful set features two complete color-themed place settings, each composed of a teacup, a matching saucer, and a dessert plate — one in soft rose pink, the other in gentle pastel blue. The set is believed to be part of a limited “Friendship” collection, with the complementary color pairing symbolizing unity and balance. It’s perfect for sharing tea with a close friend or loved one, celebrating connection through timeless design. Founded in 1764, Wallendorf is among Europe’s oldest porcelain producers, known for its elegant forms and durable quality. The GDR-era backstamps present on each piece authenticate its origin and era, displaying the crowned “W”, the founding year, and the “Made in GDR” designation.
