19th Century French Baccarat Crystal & Oak Double Inkwell Inkstand Desk Set
About the Item
A fine 19th-century French Baccarat crystal and oak double inkwell and pen tray desk set. Signed "Baccarat". The inkwells and nib holder are heavy with a swirled crystal design and hinged brass tops. The oak stand has a lovely aged patina with brass stringing, brass trim, and bun feet.
The oak stand measures 12.75" W x 6.5" D x 1.75" H. The inkwells measure 2.25" diameter x 3" height. The nib holder is 3.5" W x 2" D x 1.25" H.

- Condition:Wear consistent with age and use. Good antique condition; minor wear consistent with age. The oak stand has some light ink stains, minor surface cracks, and small area of buckling on the brass stringing. The crystal is in very good condition and the brass tops have some patination.
