Antique Silver and Cut Glass Inkwell, London 1916
A fine quality antique inkwell featuring a heavy cut glass body with arched faceted sides and a star-cut base, mounted with a hallmarked silver collar and hinged lid. The lid is inset with polished tortoiseshell bordered by a fine engraved silver band.
Hallmarked for London, 1916. Maker’s mark partially worn but visible.
Dimensions: 8 cm x 8 cm x 9 cm high
Condition: Good antique condition with minor wear to the glass and a rubbed maker’s mark. Silver mount secure; hinge firm.
A handsome and functional piece for the collector or desk.
