Rare Novelty Cricket Inkwell. A wonderful leather covered traveling inkwell in the shape of a cricket ball. This is a very desirable, rare and unusual object made from brass and covered in imprinted leather to imitate a ball. It is hinged in the centre with a push button clasp. When opened there is another brass dome lid that when opened the original glass ink pot bottle is revealed, this brass lid has a sprung seal to stop any ink spillages. A great collector's piece in very good condition. Dimensions: Height 6 cm / 2 " Diameter 6 cm / 2 "
