Grand English Bulldog Novelty Inkwell with Glass Eyes, circa 1880
About the Item
A magnificent English Victorian inkwell made from solid English brass having been professionally polished to gleam.
This grand figural dog inkwell was modelled in the form of an English Bulldog's head with a buckled collar and retaining his two large glass eyes.
The hinged lid opens to reveal the original glass and brass removable ink liner.
A fabulous addition to the finest of desk-tops and perfect for the canine devotee. Excellent condition measuring 7 1/4" in diameter x 4 1/2" tall.
