Hand Carved Wood and Glass Double Inkwells
About the Item
This is a hand carved wood double inkwells with two glass jars. Its base is almost square shaped. Over this base there are two large lions with a lot of hair laying down at each side and looking up to a snake that is coiled around a wood trunk that is above them. There are several cut wood branches that come out or are crossed over this wood trunk. In the front part of the inkwell base, there is a round open area at each side to place the ink jars. The jars are kind of bell shaped. Their body glass are ribbed and their round tops are made of carved wood.
