About the Item
The Apollineo collection mergs classical and contemporary elements to define a unique aesthetic inspired by Mediterranean architecture and vibes. Sun-blessed pure volumes, shapes marked by time, corroded by water and wind. Their colors are warm as the Southern Sun and their surfaces decorated by hand with bright majolica tiles with geometric patterns create an original play of reflections, lights and shadows, grooves and three-dimensional facets.
Starting from a quarry ashlar of Leccese stone, a fossiliferous limestone found only in very few quarries in the Salento area near Lecce, all the products are first machine-carved to obtain straight edges and then finished by hand. Stone and clay, basic elements of the architecture of the Mediterranean basin, give rise to miniature architectures.
The Apollineo bookend inspired by the buttress is available in two shapes. The decor RIFLESSI is inspired by the play lights and shadows on the water at sunset.
NOTE:
As handmade and crafted products, each pieces present slight differences from one another due to the process adopted. These make each of them unique, with charming details that render it distinctive and unrepeatable.

TIPSTUDIO
TIPSTUDIO is Imma Matera and Tommaso Lucarini, Florentine by adoption based duo driven by a material research with a more poetic process to investigate and explore the boundary of nowadays design. They are determined to transform any idea into a narrative project to catch emotions through an in-depth research on processes and territories. The form is just the shape of the process, It becomes the output of a path of experimentation on material and immaterial values. Their works come from the blending of anthropological aspects, conceptual analysis and territories in a continuous intertwining between the poetry of Matera with the materiality of Pietrasanta. Currently TIPSTUDIO works across different disciplines, companies and artisans to create new products, unique pieces and concepts in a continuous journey.

Constantin Art Inspired Bookends, Black Marquina Marble and Canaletto Walnut
By Agustina Bottoni
Located in Milan, Lombardy
Constantin 1 is a simple but charming bookend couple with a geometric shape. The body is in Marquina black marble. The top in solid Canaletto walnut. A perfect present, closed in an elegant gift box.
Constantin collection owes its name to its inspirer. It is in fact the modern art of Constantin Brancusi that has guided the designer’s hand to conceive candelabra, bookends, containers and centre pieces in wood, marble and brass. Taking up Brancusi ability to represent the essence of things with a high degree of abstraction, designer Agustina Bottoni has shaped the candlesticks and bookends thinking of the columns and bases of Brancusi famous sculptures...
