Rare authentic and iconic modern glass storage compartment or ashtray designed by the famous French architects of the 20th century Le Corbusier and Charlotte Perriand for Lumax. Le Corbusier and Charlotte Perriand, pioneering figures in modern and contemporary architecture, drew inspiration from the glass blocks they used in their designs while creating this storage compartment in the 1950s. Note: This a rare earlier examples based on the fabrication of the glass. This piece is not only a collector's item but also appeals to architecture and design enthusiasts seeking a beautiful, contemporary, and minimalist addition to their spaces. Its significance extends beyond mere decoration, making it a vital component in enhancing the aesthetic appeal of a modern interior. Dimensions: Large: 8x15x15 Provenance: We have acquired a set of vide poches form a Dutch architect and collector, who used it as a styling item in projects and in his office.. In total we have eight items. Condition: Marked as Lumax Recuit, in a good vintage condition with indications of age and blemishes. Scratches are visible on the bottom. Additionally, the tip rim has chips on the edge, visible in the provided photos. Despite these signs of use and age, the item remains solid and iconic. Shipped with track and trace
