Antique Reverse Carved and Painted Crystal Terrier Dog Charm of 14k Gold
Located in Lewisburg, PA
Antique Reverse Carved Crystal Terrier Charm in 14k Gold, circa 1920 This finely rendered antique charm captures the loyal spirit and character of man's best friend through a beautifully reverse carved and hand-painted crystal featuring a terrier dog. The image is layered over a luminous mother-of-pearl backdrop, giving it a subtle iridescence and lifelike dimension. This rare technique—highly prized by collectors—showcases exceptional artistry and precision. Originally an antique cufflink dating to circa 1920, the piece has been thoughtfully converted into a charm with the addition of a solid 14k gold jump ring bail, allowing it to be worn as a pendant or added to a curated charm bracelet. It measures approximately 0.8 inches from top to bottom by 0.6 inches wide, and is in excellent condition, with only minimal surface wear to the domed crystal—visible only under magnification. Reverse painted crystal jewelry...
