French Art Deco Marble Picture Frame with Pair of Decorative Swans circa 1930s
About the Item
Beautiful French Art Deco marble picture frame, with a pair of decorative swans. Measuring length 48 cm / 18.9 inches by width 7 cm / 2.75 inches, and height 22.5 cm / 8.85 inches. The metal swans have aged patina, one has a crack (see photo 5). We have given this piece a light clean. The lovely original charcoal picture is included.
This large and stylish marble picture frame makes a wonderful display piece. Circa 1930s.

- Condition:Repaired: One swan is cracked and was re-attached and glued to the marble base. One piece of glass was missing, we had a new one made, and the other piece of glass was refinished. Wear consistent with age and use.

Beautiful silver plated electric blue guilloche enamel glass jar. The lid measures diameter 8.6 cm / 3.38 inches and the base is diameter 9.1 cm / 3.58 inches. Height is 3cm / 1.18 inches. There is a chip to the bottom of the glass, and a very small chip to the side of the guilloche. There is wear to the silver plating.

Stylish pair of girandole gold gilt candlesticks with marble bases and crystal prism lustres, designed with lady figures. They are height 36.5 cm / 14.37 inches, and the marble bases are 12.7 cm / 5 inches by 7.6 cm / 3 inches. We have replaced two missing lustres, though not the same design, blend well. Some of the lustres are chipped. We have given the candlesticks a light clean.
