About the Item

We present an authentic sculpture by the famous futurist artist Giacomo Balla. A very rare tea service produced in the middle of the Futurist period in Italy. Extremely rare object, an identical one is present in the "Casa Balla" museum in Rome. Produced with the help of the famous ceramist Riccardo Gatti from Faenza. Many publications of the Futurist period portray this exceptional Futurist sculpture. The service in our possession consists of 6 tea cups and 6 plates. All in excellent condition with the exception of a plate which clearly turns out not to be original but a remake of the time that the old owner had made to make up for the breakage of one of them. We guarantee the authenticity of the object made in the 1920s Cup measures: Diameter 8 cm Including the handle 10 x 8 cm Height 3,5 cm Plate measures: Diameter 15 cm Height 2 cm.
