Please Inquire. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Submitted for your approval, this circa 1940s Mitchell Model GC, 35mm motion picture camera in the rare high speed version. Correct and complete with all vintage lenses, motor, large faced 40s factory tachometer, cables, magazines and accessories. Offered on a later vintage wood tripod with vintage fluid head (other tripods available ex stock). Excellent paint and factory original serial numbers intact. These cameras were used in Hollywood for high speed filming (slow motion) and also by the government for military aerial weapon and flight documentation and analysis in the 1940s and 1950s. After original government work, this camera spent most of its life working in Hollywood at a large motion picture camera department. A rare beauty for display in home or office. Soon these will be all gone and in the hands of serious collectors. The last nice model GC we saw was back in 1969 and this camera that we have looks much better and not abused.
