SATURN - Contemporary sculpture in mosaic and slate by Nino Basso
About the Item
SATURNUS is a table sculpture unique, signed by Italian artist Nino Basso, part of the I MOSAICI collection. A work that blends geometric minimalism and traditional craftsmanship, reinterpreting the ancient art of venetian mosaic in a contemporary key.
Two monochrome geometric shapes in black split slate, with polished edges, frame a handmade art mosaic tile. Venetian enamel tiles, in shades of red and blue-violet, are interrupted by a metallic band that gives movement and light to the composition.
Each element is unique: colors, sizes, shades and shadows of the tiles contribute to the expressiveness and unrepeatability of the work.
Designed for contemporary design environments, SATURNO is an art object that lends character and sophistication to high-end residential or professional spaces.
