Claudio Capotondi,
Uno dei grandi scultori italiani ancora viventi.
Nato nell'antica città etrusca di Tarquinia, in Italia, nel 1937, dopo aver vissuto e lavorato a Roma , New York e Pietrasanta è tornato al suo paese natale di Tarquinia dal 2023.
Ad oggi ha realizzato 19 opere d'arte pubblica in Italia, Stati Uniti, Giappone e Libia, e ha tenuto mostre personali a Roma, Firenze, Torino, Carrara, Bari, New York, Parigi, Finlandia e collettive in numerose città del mondo. Nel 2000 ha ricevuto l'ambito Premio Michelangelo dalla città di Carrara. Le sue sculture si trovano in diverse collezioni pubbliche e private.
