About the Item
Experimenting with new forms with red earth from Ibiza Earthenware, resins, assemblages, shapes and colours.
A terracotta sculpture with a hand-forged iron cage. The Goddess inside the cage represents the divine feminine, encompassing qualities such as intuition, gentleness, creativity, and emotional connection—personal feminine power as an energetic principle, regardless of gender identity, which is still confined by cages of social and karmic conditioning. Made in an assembly of a vintage Chinese vase, terracotta sculpture.
Unique piece
The complete price for the sculpture, including the base, requires an additional €2,000 (excluding VAT) on top of the list price.

Awesome Mixed-Media Birdcage Sculpture
By Fay Sciarra
Located in Hopewell, NJ
A beautiful and thoughtful found object sculpture titled Cage of Fear made from a vintage birdcage collaged with gingham, leopard fabric and cigar box wrappings. Inside the cage is a 3 dimensional arrangement of mixed-media objects including childrens' blocks that spell F E A R, the hand of a clock, a disturbing plastic doll that hangs from a pulley, and deer horns. The interior of the cage is a metaphor for the jail of fear we construct in our own minds, while outside the cage there remains a constant of beauty and hope. An antique shamrock paper clip at the top suggests luck, a Murano glass piece of candy and vintage brass cherub...
