Unique Mid-Century Modern wall sculptural candle holder. It’s from the late 1960’s, and is a true brutalist work of art. It’s torch cut metal. The metal has beautiful torch cut texture. It’s a visually stunning piece, and quite unusual. It’s in the manner of Tom Greene sculptures and pieces, as well as Henrik Horst, David Palombo and Silas Seandel. It compliments a variety of aesthetics from Mid-century Modern, Danish Modern, Brutalist, Industrial, Hollywood Regency, and contemporary art. AA#210146.

Full brass single shade floor lamp by Cosack Leuchten, 1960s, Germany. Heavy brass. Minimal design Very high quality. Fully functional. This 1960s Brass Cosack floor lamp exists in several versions. Other lampshades were used with the same base & rod. Also table and wall lamps exists. The shade can rotate and pointed in various directions. The Gebrüder Cosack (Gecos) company was founded in 1833 as a metal processing plant in Neheim-Hüsten, Germany by Egon, Friedrich and Theodor Cosack together with Gottliebe Tappe. It was named Metallwarenfabrik Tapp + Cosack. In the beginning they made liturgical items, crosses and upholstery nails made of brass and they also produced kerosene lamps. Later the company came to the production of electric lamps. After the Second World War Cosack pursued a modern direction. A best seller were copper lighting for restaurants.
