7" Charcoal Black Elephant Sculpture by Cristina Puell, Signed by the Artist.
This is a stellar, modernist sculpture with just the right amount of curves.
It is signed on the right rump area, and has a plate with signature attached to the base front as well. These are hard to find, and it is also difficult to ascertain the materials. We think it might be some sort of cast stone or stone-like material. However we've seen it often called ceramic as well. We just aren't sure. What we are sure about, however, is how beautiful this artist's sculptures are. This rare sculpture is approximately 7 x 5 x 4.5 inches.
It shows some scratching, and there is a very small chip on the right understide corner of the trunk. Though it was virtually impossible for us to find the little chip with the naked eye, we were able to get a zoomed in photo to show you. The zoomed photo makes it look large, but in person we don't think most people would even notice; we only found it because we were told it was there.
