About the Item
The two beautiful mice have been cast out of spelter and are silver plated. The little creatures are playing with a deep red ball made out of bakelite. Mice and balls are mounted on marble bases. One of the pieces of marble has a small chip. The mice come with their original patina, however, they can be polished to reveal their silver plated surface. The tails are signed by the sculptor Hippolyte François Moreau ( 1832 Dijon - 1926).
