Bertil Vallien is a Swedish glass artist born in 1938 in Sollentuna. He is known for his sculptural glass objects and sculptures that are often organic in form with a sense of movement or life.
Vallien has been working with glass since 1963 and over the years has explored different techniques and materials to create his works. He has also been active as a teacher and mentor to many other glass artists and has won several awards and prizes for his work, both nationally and internationally. His works are represented in many public and private collections around the world.
