About the Item
Graceful even when standing still the Bronze Horse on Marble Base is a striking addition to any setting. Using traditional lost wax casting methods the horse is created in pieces and then joined together with brazing and hand chaised details are added to give a high level of detail to the figure. The horse is then mounted on a solid marble base to lend it stability as well as an enduring appearance. The Bronze Horse on Marble Base is finished in a multi stage, time consuming process requiring skilled and experienced artisans. The rich and varied shades of finish lend themselves to almost any decor, they appear especially striking when displayed in a well lit area.
