About the Item
This realistic work, made of terracotta, comes from the hands of artist Angelo Zanella, a contemporary artist dedicated to sculpture and painting.
Able to make paintings of any size, one day, almost for fun, finding himself a block of clay in the Studio, he tried his hand at modeling this material, just to create an animal, and he tried rhinoceros, monkey heads and a whale.
He realized that his skill went far beyond the paintbrush and made a series of Bonobo "portraits," each with different details and expression, and a series of rhinos in different positions.
This signed specimen, is dated 2020.
