Coppia di Cavalli in Bronzo Sculture Grand Tour dell' Inizio 1800,  figure di cavalli rampanti di origine italiana, fusioni in bronzo a patina scura poggianti su basi lignee, tornite, gradinate e sagomate in legno dorato. Ottimo lo stato di conservazione, queste sculture animalier provengono da una collezione privata milanese. Le misure delle due figure sono differenti, le maggiori sono in cm : 19,5 di altezza x 14 larghezza x 6,5 profondità. L'altezza della sola scultura in bronzo è 15 cm. E' notevole il fascino dinamico di queste sculture di cavalli di epoca neoclassica, la plasticità della posa con le zampe anteriori sollevate che riflette magistralmente il vigore energico ed il temperamento di questi animali. Queste sculture potrebbero essere state realizzate come ricordo di un viaggio o come souvenir artistico. Sono esempi tipici dell’arte classica e del gusto per le sculture antiche che erano popolari tra i viaggiatori durante il Grand Tour. Le sculture potrebbero rappresentare un cavallo da guerra e un cavallo da corsa, o semplicemente due maestosi destrieri.
