Crane brass and walnut table top sculpture by Bill Scott

$460

About

Crane sculpture Bill Scott, USA 1991 Walnut, brass lacquer 17 tall x 15 deep and 7.5 inches wide. From an estate of a collector of art from around the United States. Elegant details such as the method used to cut the brass to impart bird feather tuffs behind the head and at the base of neck coupled with carved walnut feathers to the tail show quality studio attention to detail and a high level of professional craftsmanship. Possibly American School art. Signed to the base with paper label and carved inscription. There is a renown Bill (William) Scott, but it is not this painters work. All upon black plinth base. If you wish the brass polished prior to shipping, please ask, otherwise it will remain in it's original condition.
