Rare French, 19th century, Empire. Large size carved wood and gesso gilt eagle, with its full body, swept back wings, pronounced talons, perched on a ball. Important size.
Condition good for age, with cracks to gilding with some gesso and wood showing through. Sold as is, or can be restored through our atelier.
