A 1930s Italian plaster ram's head skull. Complete with large curling ridged horns, the plaster with a darker, aged patina giving the skull a 'lifelike' quality. This would have been a studio piece, which meant that it was made as a maquette before a bronze version was cast or a final version in a more durable material.
